Several years earlier, we had delivered a leadership development programme for senior leaders in the company’s emerging markets.
As part of the programme, we provided light coaching. This was so popular that over half of the participants extended the coaching beyond the programme.
Our client then asked us to work with them to structure other coaching interventions. We worked with their global coaching team to structure the right interventions and to make sure our coaches met their standards.
We pushed back on some of their suggestions that were not evidence-based and were flexible in other areas. We proactively identified coaches in remote locations ahead of when they needed the coaches.
